AI Fluency: Zero to Confident
Most people using AI today are guessing. They type something in, get something back, and hope for the best. That is not AI fluency — that is AI lottery.
AI Fluency: Zero to Confident is a free 6-session live training series designed for anyone who wants to move from curious to genuinely capable with AI — whether you are a student, an IT professional, or someone who just knows AI matters and has not yet found the right starting point.
Built around Claude by Anthropic — and bringing in Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT for real comparison — this series gives you a framework-first, hands-on learning experience across 6 alternate Saturdays.
Every session is live, interactive, and built around real use cases: not theory for its own sake.
You will learn how large language models actually work (without the jargon), master a structured prompting framework, use AI for studying, writing, code review, incident reports, career prep, and creative work — and understand where AI is heading and what that means for your career. By Session 6, you will have a personal prompt library, a certificate of completion, and a clear plan for using AI intentionally in everything you do.
This is completely free. Seats are capped at 18 per session to ensure every participant gets a real learning experience — not just a seat in a webinar. Register once and get immediate LMS access to all session recordings, slide decks, lab guides, and materials.
What You'll Learn
- How AI and large language models really work — tokens, context windows, hallucinations, and why AI behaves the way it does, explained simply and clearly
- Structured prompt engineering — the CRAFT framework with real examples across study, work, writing, and IT, using Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT side by side
- AI for your real work and study — code review, incident reports, essay structuring, research, policy drafting, and creative writing with hands-on labs every session
- Agentic AI and integrations — how Claude connects to tools like Slack, Google Drive, and GitHub, and what AI agents actually are (and are not)
- AI ethics, safety, and responsible use — hallucinations, bias, academic integrity, data privacy, and how to use AI without losing your own critical thinking
