Exam and Certification

The ISO/IEC 27701 Foundation exam is conducted on the final day of the course and is administered by PECB. Upon passing, candidates are awarded the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27701 Foundation credential, which is verifiable through PECB's official online directory. The certification demonstrates a candidate's foundational understanding of privacy information management principles and signals a commitment to responsible PII handling — a valuable credential for privacy professionals, compliance officers, and IT security practitioners operating across regulated industries worldwide.
